Making of Cavius Maximus
The very talented artist Farkas Ekho Zsolt impressed us this month with an amazing architectural project which we would like to share with the LightWave 3D Community: the creation of an entire ancient city, Cavius Maximus, inspired by the Roman architecture and visualized in LightWave. OctaneRender 3.0 plugin for LightWave
Juanjo Gonzalez released a new version of the OTOY OctaneRender™ plugin for LightWave 3D. This is the first alpha build of the 3.0 plugin and it's available for Lightwave 10.1, 11.6 and 2015.3 Windows x64 (the OSX build will be released as soon as possible). Enjoy!

3D Kits in LightWave
Almost everyone has assembled a toy model kit of an airplane or vehicle at some time in their life. With that in mind the UK-based artist Spooka Pooka shares with us the digital equivalent of model assembly. Using the power of the LightWave Modeler tools Spooka Pooka created this impressive 3D Kits series. Says Pooka, "The beautiful ergonomics of LightWave Modeler [...] make the Kits a joy to work on.
