Update 5 April 2016: The Annual LightWave Holiday Challenge has drawn to a close! Congratulations to Milivoj Popovic, who wins this challenge with this amazing image! He will receive LightWave 2015, ChronoSculpt and NevronMotion software. Thanks to everyone for participating. Stay tuned for the next contest!
Many of you have asked us for a little more time to participate to our LightWave Holiday Challenge. We have extended the deadline to March 31st, so time to turn on your creativity!
We are looking for one outstanding, original image or animation created with LightWave 3D. This year we are looking for something special from our amazing LightWave community of artists and designers: the challenge topic will be to represent how your favorite movie characters (sci-fi, horror... any kind!) spend their Christmas, with one special twist: the LightWave logo must be incorporated into the design. Show us and the world your unique creativity!
Here is your chance to showcase your work and win a suite of products from the LightWave 3D Group! Time to turn on your creativity!
The Details
The challenge begins on Friday December 25, 2015 and ends at 11:59 pm Central Standard Time on Thursday, 31 March, 2016.
All works in progress (WIPs) can be posted to the LightWave Contest Facebook page at www.facebook.com/officiallightwave3dcontest
Final entries should be marked "FINAL" and posted to the LightWave Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/LightWave3D
We will create an album of FINAL submissions on the LightWave Facebook page to share with everyone. All FINAL entries must be time stamped by 11:59 pm CST on Thursday, 31 March, 2016 to be officially entered.
The challenge is open to all LightWave 3D artists worldwide.
The winner's Bounty
The lucky winner of the challenge will receive the LightWave Production Suite of products which includes LightWave 2015, NevronMotion, and ChronoSculpt software. The software awarded to the winning entry will be licensed to them and can be upgraded but cannot be resold or redistributed.

All entries submitted must be created specifically for this challenge and not past or previously published work. They must also be the property of their respective owners. LightWave must be the primary software used in the creation of the image or animation.
Final images must be rendered in LightWave and be high-resolution for print.
The winner will grant the LightWave 3D Group first time publishing rights of the winning submission and permission to use the winning artist's name.
